About The Doctor
New England native from a family of six, Dr. Deborah Bonfanti studied Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport in CT, where she graduated with high honors and earned her Doctorate. She also completed her undergraduate degree with high honors at Keene State College in New Hampshire, where she double-majored in Fitness/Exercise Science and Nutrition.
Dr. Bonfanti's lifelong passion for physical well-being and the importance of optimal health first drew her to sports and dance, leading her to play basketball at the collegiate level and to take on clients as a personal trainer. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Bonfanti was devastated when her body succumbed to illness, forcing her to take a medical leave from school. This, ultimately, forced her to give up her pursuit of basketball and nearly took her life.
She credits her survival to a combination of naturopathic medicine, the doctors who worked tirelessly to help her, and also the grace of God. She is alive today, pursuing her dream in medicine, and has also returned to the basketball court. Dr. Bonfanti's journey ignited in her a passion to fully understand the complex workings of the human body, and it is her mission to use her skills and experience to help her patients fight their own health battles in hopes to fully recover through an in-depth whole-health approach.
